Quick and Easy Oatmeal Banana Cookies

The thing I like most about this recipe is it is quick, it is easy and you don’t have to be precise with what you put in it. In fact, one of the things my husband likes best about it is its variability, it is kind of like jazz music of cookies, never the same way twice.

It is healthy both at home and as an after workout snack.

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp room temperature butter
  • sunflower seeds
  • chocolate chips
  • pumpkin seeds
  • raisins

Procedure:

  1. Preheat oven to 300° F
  2. Mash the bananas up
  3. Add the rest of the ingredients to taste, mixing well.
  4. Spray the pan with butter or your favorite none stick spray.
  5. Scoop 2 tbsp or so or use a small ice cream scoop and place the mixture on tray.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes.
  7. Enjoy!
